 WEDNESDAY CLASSES 

Wednesday Classes in May

This week, Andrew and Iwona will be teaching.
In both classes we will be looking at using walking turns with
changes of direction, different timings (incl. Vals) and points
of emphasis, and combinations of long & short steps.
One aim of the class will be to encourage more progression
on the dance floor, in an interesting way - rather than merely
linear walking. 

Class 1 Improvers     at 7pm    £7  

Class 2  Intermediate at 9pm    £7, 

both classes £12, inc practicas

Practicas at 8pm and 10pm, practica only=£3.

 NEW BEGINNERS & RECENT BEGINNERS/IMPROVERS course started on 22nd April - Classes resume tonight Sun 13th May Beginners 7-8pm + practica  till 8.30pm followed by Improvers 8.30-9.30pm+ practica. Further enquiries welcome

Many Thanks to all who joined us for the Spring Bailamos milongas at the Redland Club over the week-end, Especial thanks to those who travelled long distances to come and dance. We are hosting more of these events at intervals throughout the year and will keep you posted .....the next one is our Spring Tango cafe on 15th April, 3pm-7.30pm, £10adv/£12door. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Private Classes

Private one-to-one tuition is available and can be a very useful way of improving your dancing. Classes are available with Andrew, Michele and Iwona by arrangement at the Redland Club and also with Andreas on dates when he is teaching for us in Bristol. Tango West gives special attention to music, and is building a reputation far & wide for this. Many hours are spent prior to a Milonga preparing the music for the event. We believe this makes all the difference. Dancers are really starting to appreciate this. Of course it is presented in a structured way in Tandas with Cortinas,  and the all important 'Milonga Codes' are encouraged
