There has been a lot written about the history of Tango over the years and it seems that we are now at a moment in time when interest in researching and writing about tango is gathering pace.
Here we aim to bring you information about publications that may help in your quest to understand more about the dance, the etiquette, the music as well as the history.
Hot off the press is Christine Denniston’s book, ‘The Meaning of Tango, the Story of the Argentinian Dance’ . We have
some copies for sale at £10. (also available through Amazon)
This is highly recommended, particularly as Christine was our very first teacher at Tango West in Bristol ten years ago. Christine shared her passion for tango with us, inspiring us to develop as dancers and making the experience generous and engaging. Her tango tea dances at the Waldorf were legendary!
Also available is 'Embracing Tango' by Benzecry Saba -'Techniques and Metaphores between tango and life'.
we have a few copies available for £15
